Interesting…I remember an old episode of The Simpsons where they’re in a theater, and the THX Vroom starts, and keeps getting louder and louder and louder until people are nailed back in their seats, glasses shattering, even one guy’s teeth shattering, and Grandpa Simpson is sitting there saying “Louder! I can’t hear it!”
Which highlights a problem I have with many theaters, they run the audio just too loud, even when the theaters aren’t crowded it seems the levels are set to overcome the sound of a near riot.
